Richard Marker has been trying to sail for over 20 years. He’s owned 7 sailboats, and a couple powerboats. Most were still floating when he was done with them.
Richard created Close Hauled cartoons, that ran in Cruising Outpost (Later renamed to Latitudes & Attitudes) Magazine for over a decade.
During his stint with the magazine and Bob Bitchin, he created Captain Captain along with various boating related cartoons and comics. You can find them all here on Funnyboater.com
Richard lives in Florida and tries to escape the state to explore new lands whenever possible.
